Welcome to Europe Surf School

There are many places in the world where you can surf. So why Fuerteventura? For us, the answer is quite simple: because it has everything we look for in a surf destination, without making life more complicated than it needs to be.

Europe Surf School was born from a love of surfing and the idea that learning to surf should be about much more than just standing on a board. It should be about spending time in the ocean, learning at your own pace, meeting people and enjoying the whole experience. And Fuerteventura turned out to be the perfect place for that.

One of the main reasons we chose the island is its variety. Fuerteventura has a huge coastline with different beaches, reefs and conditions, making it possible to find options for different levels and types of surfing. Especially for beginners, having the right conditions makes a huge difference. A good wave is great. The right wave to learn on is even better.

Then there is the weather. Fuerteventura enjoys mild temperatures all year round, meaning surfing is not something you have to save for a two-week summer holiday. Add the Atlantic Ocean, plenty of sunshine and the famous trade winds, and you have a destination where spending time in the water can easily become part of your daily routine.

Our home is Corralejo, in the north of the island. It has that rare combination of surf culture, beaches, restaurants, outdoor life and a relaxed atmosphere. You can spend the morning in the water, grab something to eat, explore the island in the afternoon and still have enough energy for a sunset. Or at least pretend you do.

At Europe Surf School, we want to make the most of this environment. Our surf lessons, Surf Camp and accommodation are designed to make the experience simple, social and enjoyable, whether you are stepping on a surfboard for the first time or looking to improve your technique.

Because, in the end, we didn’t choose Fuerteventura just because it is an amazing place to surf. We chose it because it is an amazing place to live the surf lifestyle. And once you spend a few days here, you might understand why leaving can be the hardest part.
